MAINTAINING A NATIONAL PRESENCE

NAAE serves as a voice for agricultural education on a state and national level.  It was organized in 1948, as NVATA, to advance agricultural education and promote the professional interests of agriculture teachers.  The organization monitors government affairs affecting agricultural education, and assists in developing priorities and strategies that effect federal legislation and appropriations, commodity groups and government agencies to develop an agenda for agricultural and rural education.
