Teacher Spotlight

The agriculture program at San Joaquin Delta College, in Stockton, California, has the highest transfer rate of all programs in the college. Students from the program continue to surpass the grade point averages of students that start at state 4-year degree granting institutions. They also continually place in the top of state and national competitions for judging, leadership contests, job skill contests and certifications. The exceptional instructors and curriculum offered at San Joaquin Delta College have made all of this possible.

The instructors in the program focus their philosophy on student needs, community needs and industry trends.

The primary mission of the program is to provide rigorous, high quality degree and certificate curricula in lower arts and sciences and in vocational, technical and occupational fields.

Congratulations to the instructors in the program: Ben Beam, Todd Burnett, Larry Paulsen and Mike Toscano.
