You’re Invited to participate in the NAAE Organizational Members and Business Partners Reception to be held in conjunction with the 2008 NAAE Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, Friday, December 5, 2008, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
The Purpose is to expose agricultural education professionals (agriculture teachers, teacher educators, and state agricultural education staff) to new products and services provided by agricultural education partners from the agri-business and educational communities.
The Audience includes agricultural educators from 50 state associations of agricultural education. It is anticipated that 500+ agricultural education professionals will attend the reception.
Reception Hours are from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008. Exhibitors will have access to the reception room on Friday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m. to set up exhibits. Exhibits must be set-up by 5:00 pm.
The Cost for an exhibit space is free to current NAAE Organizational Members. The cost for non-NAAE Organizational Members is $300. We welcome new Organizational Members; all new Organizational Members may take advantage of the complimentary exhibit space at the reception. (Go to www.naae.org/orgmembers/bcmorgmember/ for information on becoming an Organizational Member of NAAE.)
An Exhibit Space Includes four feet of table space and overhead signage. If you need special accommodations (electricity, audio-visual equipment, etc.), you will need to make special arrangements in advance by contacting Alissa Smith, the reception manager. There may be an additional cost for some accommodations.
Bring to the Reception brochures, handouts, product samples, business cards, and other promotional materials. Please do not bring large tabletop displays. You will be sharing a draped eight-foot table with another exhibitor – so exhibit space will be limited. Exhibit tables will be placed around the perimeter of the room with exhibitor signage over the tables. (Please note that we will not be using “pipe and drape” booths.) Food and beverage stations will be positioned near the center of the ballroom. NAAE members will move about the room freely as they enjoy refreshments and visit with the exhibitors.
The Deadline to ensure availability of exhibit space is November 3, 2008. Advanced payment, if any, is also due then. Exhibit space may be reserved after that date as long as space is still available.
