Eric is the current Agriculture Education Specialist for the State of Montana and he works for Office of Public Instruction in Helena. He has taught agriculture at Cascade High School, in Cascade, Montana for 16 years where his classes were Ag I, Ag II, Building Construction, Welding, Independent Agriculture and junior high ag. Eric was elected President-Elect at the 2022 NAAE Convention. He has had the opportunity to serve as the NAAE Region I Vice President, Region I Secretary, and as an officer for the Montana Association of Agricultural Educators.
He was selected as a Region I Teacher Turn the key recipient in 2007, Teacher of the Year in 2014, Ideas Unlimited winner 2015 and took part in the XLR8 program at the 2018 Region I conference in Utah.
Eric and his wife, Roberta, have been active members in their communities serving as committee members of their local rodeos, educational scholarship programs as well as officers in their local fire department.
