Marty Jones teaches agricultural education at Bartlesville Public Schools in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where he has served as an FFA Advisor and educator since 2019. With over a decade of teaching experience, he is passionate about preparing students to become confident, capable leaders in agriculture and beyond.
A proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural education. Marty began his teaching career in Guthrie, Oklahoma, where he laid the foundation for a career centered on student growth, innovation, and real-world application. After three years at Guthrie Public Schools, he spent two years teaching at Elgin Public Schools before moving to his current position in Bartlesville. In 2019, he completed his master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Southern Nazarene University.
Beyond the classroom, Marty is actively involved in advancing agricultural education through leadership at both the state and national levels. He has served on various Oklahoma ag teacher association committees and currently chairs the NAAE Financial Review Committee. He is a dedicated advocate for student leadership, teacher mentorship, and agricultural literacy. His program has earned recognition for excellence in community involvement, leadership development, and educational impact.
Marty lives in Owasso, Oklahoma, with his wife, Cyriece, and their children.
