Desi has been teaching secondary ag ed in Wyndmere, ND since 2010. She graduated from the University of Minnesota: Crookston with a B.S Degree in Agricultural Education and Animal Science. Desi received her Master's in Ag Education through North Dakota State University in 2017.
She has taken advantage of many opportunities through NAAE including the Teacher Turn the Key program, ND XLR8, National Agriscience Ambassador Program and also serves as a NAAE Facilitator. Her program was named the NAAE Region III Outstanding Middle School/Secondary Program in 2023 and she currently serves as the Region III secretary.
She resides in Wyndmere, North Dakota with her husband Connor and their three children Madeline, Ella and Samuel.
