The NAAE National #TeachAg Ambassador Program is for individuals who are passionate about agricultural education and want to share their story. National #TeachAg Ambassadors use their enthusiasm to encourage others to consider a career in teaching agriculture.
NAAE National #TeachAg Ambassadors communicate with a variety of audiences to recruit future agriculture teachers and spread the Teach Ag message. Ambassadors are required to attend the National FFA Convention and participate in virtual seminars. National #TeachAg Ambassadors receive customized training and lessons to use at local, university, and state levels.
Serving as an NAAE #TeachAg Ambassador is a unique preservice opportunity that provides early experience in agricultural education. All applicants MUST be a post-secondary agricultural education student and current NAAE student member. To become a #TeachAg Ambassador, applicants must complete an application which will open each year in mid-April. Applications are screened, and then selected applicants will proceed through the process with a virtual interview. After the conclusion of interviews, applicants who are selected to serve as #TeachAg Ambassadors will be notified by the beginning of August. The term of serving as an NAAE #TeachAg Ambassador is from October 1 until September 30.
NAAE is seeking the nation’s most outstanding agricultural education majors to represent the profession as National #TeachAg Ambassadors who will serve throughout the year at the national & state level. The term begins on October 1 through September 30. Applications will open in April and close in June.
