National Agriscience Teacher Ambassador Program
The Academy serves to train agriculture teachers on how to enhance the science that is already present in agriculture, as well as develop students as problem solvers and thinkers through the inquiry-based teaching method.
DuPont Agriscience Institute
Professional development for agriscience teachers held during Teachers' World at National FFA Convention and at the NAAE Convention each year. The Institute offers professional development sessions focusing primarily on inquiry-based agriscience instruction. The Institute also emphasizes literacy and common core instruction as part of agricultural education.
National Pre-Service Agriscience Teacher Program
Preservice teachers can apply to attend an interactive hands-on agriscience training program at the National FFA Convention. Selected participants will be challenged to develop inquiry-based lessons to use during their student teaching experience as well as when they enter the teaching profession.
NAAE Agriscience Inqiry Institute
The NAAE Agriscience Inquiry Institute (NAAE Ag I2) was developed out of the need for more state focused professional development opportunities related to inquiry-based teaching and the enhancement of science in agricultural education. The format and core of the state NAAE Ag I2 is based on the National Agriscience Teacher Ambassador Academy (NATAA).
Teachers Turn the Key Scholarship Program
A unique program for second, third and fourth year agriculture teachers consisting of sessions during NAAE convention and development of a peer cohort to help participants with early career challenges.
XLR8 Experienced Teacher Program
A program for 7-15 year agriculture teachers consisting of sessions during NAAE convention and a peer cohort to help retain experienced teachers in agricultural education.
Workshops for Pre-Service Teachers
Pre-service teachers are invited to participate in all NAAE workshops, but special programming is available during Teachers’ World at National FFA Convention and through other special pre-service programs.
National Policy Seminar and Agricultural Education Strand
This seminar offers a unique opportunity for agricultural educators to focus on issues specific to CTE and agricultural education and hone their advocacy skills through a variety of sessions and networking opportunities.
Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE)
More than just curriculum, CASE is a system of instructional support for the classroom teacher that also includes professional development, assessment and certification.
